Lisa Barricklow Whiting, 62, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at The Women's Center at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Lisa was born on January 8, 1961, in Lakewood, OH., and lovingly adopted by Charles and Mary Barricklow. Lisa was raised in Southern California. She attended Beechwood Elementary School and La Dera Jr. High School in Fullerton Ca. She graduated from high school after just 2 years in the advance program from Troy High School in 1978.

Lisa married her former husband, Ron Whiting, in Upland, CA., in 1988. The family moved to Broken Arrow, OK. in 1992.

Lisa worked in the real estate closing industry for over 25 years. She worked for First American Title for several years and was known for her brilliance, depth of knowledge and aptitude in her field.

Lisa was a cherished, loving, fun and adventurous mother. She was a beloved sister, sister-in-law, and wonderfully loving aunt. She was a generous, dependable, gracious and faithful friend. She was a creative soul who enjoyed decorating, gardening, cooking, bead working, and wind chime crafting. She enjoyed passing on her love of music to her boys and others. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Lisa is preceded in death by her infant son Jonathan, her father Charles Barricklow, and mother Mary Wells Barricklow.

She is survived by sons Zak Whiting of Broken Arrow, OK, and Tyler Whiting and wife Brittany of Tulsa, OK, brother Scott Barricklow of Glenpool , OK, as well as many nephews, nieces, extended family members, and loving friends.
