Loran A. Larson passed away August 8, 2018. He was born January 3, 1927 in Elsmore, KS. As a young boy, he moved to Vinita, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school and married. Mr. Larson established Larson Agency consisting of Real Estate and Farmers Insurance as an agent in Vinita. Preceding Mr. Larson in death are his parent, first wife: Vaudeville, son: Eddie, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Louise Wright-Kirberger Larson, daughter, Shelly Colvin and husband Ronnie, step-children, Bob and Brad Kirberger and Kristi Binney and husband, Charles, eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and a host of friends. LA was a very kind, smiling man and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. A private family service was held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at his gravesite in Rolston Cemetery on Monkey Island, Grand Lake. LA loved living on Grand for many years; but his late years were spent in Bixby to be closer to children. Donations in his memory may be made to Parkinson's Disease.
