On the 29th of December, Mary Emily Stone Lovett, 72, unexpectedly went home to Heaven. She had been doing well after undergoing recent surgery that had followed a time of chemo.

She was born in Ada, Oklahoma, to James and Alpha Stone. Except for a short time in California, Tulsa was her home. She attended both Bishop Kelley and Nathan Hale High Schools. She worked as an apartment leasing agent and manager in her work life. Reading, bird watching, and growing flowers were her favorite pastimes.

She is survived by her 4 daughters: Erika (Keith) Mattison, Missy (Dustin) Beene, Lucy Spears, and Sara (Jeff) Perron, as well as her sisters: Cathy Wallace and Melinda (Paul) Wilson, and one brother, Dan Stone, and her nieces and nephews, as well as 6 grandchildren: Kelsey and Gracie Tankersley, Tyler and Sadie Sanders, and McCaney and Korey Beene; and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Will Lovett, her parents, and her brother, Kevin Stone.
