Mary 'Kathy' Kathrine Marlow (Dunn) was the daughter of Haynes Dunn and Mary Dunn (Tompkins). She was born in Bellingham, WA on May 29, 1947. She died peacefully at St Francis hospital on April 12, 2015 at 3:50pm after a long, courageous, hard-fought battle with cancer. Kathy was a smart, classy, strong, funny, selfless daughter, sister, wife, mom, aunt, grammy and friend to many. Kathy and her husband George were together for 46 years. They spent most of that time raising their 4 children and providing for their family. They both retired within the past two years to enjoy life and spend more time with their friends and family. Kathy spent 50 years working in the restaurant industry, most of that time as a manager of some sort. Kathy loved cooking and gathering with family and friends over a meal. Before retiring in 2013 she was the General Manager for Applebee's in South Broken Arrow. In the 1990's she spent several years managing the Metro Diner in Tulsa. Before that she worked in every aspect of service and management at Pepper's restaurant in Tulsa. Kathy was active in several organizations within the Broken Arrow and Tulsa communities. She helped raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, gave to the BA Neighbors, and mentored countless young people in and out of the restaurant industry who all have her to thank for their success. She also attended St. Patrick's Episcopal church, enjoyed volunteering, and meeting with the Journey In Faith group along with other activities. Kathy is survived by her husband George Wallace Marlow, Jr and children John Marlow, and special friend Jackie, Chris Moe, Brian Marlow, and special friend Dana, Sarah Yankee (Marlow), and husband Joel, and stepdaughter Diana Rice and husband Greg. Kathy adored her grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly: Sara Marlow, Savannah Marlow, Nick Moe, Gabe Moe, Rose Moe, Jacob Yankee, and Joshua Roberts. Kathy is also survived by her beloved brother Michael Dunn, Sr. and Julie Dunn (wife) along with sister, Monica Texiera, all from California. Kathy had several nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones all across the country.
