Melvin Leon Jones, 86, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed away October 23, 2012 in Tulsa. Mel was born in Yale, Oklahoma to Walter F. and Nellie (Mitts) Jones in July of 1926. Mel will be missed by so many. His survivors include his loving wife, Norma Jean; daughters: Karen Gragert, Krista Turney (Jack), Karla Skaggs (James) and Karma Jones (Teresa); grandchildren: Jeremy (Yene), Jill Brandon, Bradley (Parker Angela), Heather (Travis), Matthew (Melissa), Hilary, Amanda and Jesse; great grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, MacKenzie, Jackson, Tanner, Trenton, Harley, Tatum, Karlie, Hunter, Hadley, Taylor, Jakob, Rylee, Abigaile and Alex.
