On Sunday July 12th ,2020, the world lost a kind, loving soul. Myrna Sproul Little, age 85, left this earth and reunited with her beloved young son, Kurt Flynn. Myrna was born at home, in Gas City, KS to Jim and Bessie Sproul on February 15th, 1935.
She began working for Southwestern Bell when she was just 18 years old and this is where she retired 32 years later. Myrna loved sewing and designing custom curtains. She was a very talented seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved daughter, Michelle and her grandson Ethan Ross, whom she absolutely adored. She found great joy in helping raise Ethan. Summers were spent swimming and cruising around in her Mazda 3 listening to Kid Rock. Myrna was cool like that.
Myrna lived life to the fullest and faced every day with a smile on her face and love in her heart. Her home was always open and she never met a stranger. Most all of Michelle and even Ethan's friends called her Mom and Granny. She treated them all as if they were her own children.
On Friday, July 17th at 6:30 PM, we will raise our Screwdriver's and toast to a life well lived, a woman who enjoyed her Baconators, to everyone's friend, mom and grandma that made us promise no sadness or tears.
Cheers to you, Myrna Little!!
