Noble Brice Chrisco, born July 27, 1926 in Izard County, Arkansas came to Oklahoma in a covered wagon at age 4. Raised in Sallisaw, OK, his career as an oil drilling materials superintendent with Global Santa Fe International Corporation included assignments to many foreign countries including Libya, Iran, Brazil, Venezuela, Ireland, Scotland, Nigeria, Indonesia, South Korea, Kuwait, Dubai, Egypt, Singapore and China. Sharing all the challenges of working abroad and traveling was his wife, Virginia Cagle Chrisco. Always a patriot, Nobles military service included commissions in the U.S. Army and the U. S. Air Force. After sharing 45 years with his devoted wife and caregiver, Nobles fight with cancer and frontal-temporal dementia ended in a manner perfectly described by his name on May 24, 2013 in his home with the support of hospice. Noble was the consummate gentleman, quick to tell a joke or humorous story, always ready to lend a helping hand or a comforting smile. Noble was active in organizing his neighborhood homeowners association, assisting in numerous Republican election campaigns and serving as a poll attendant at election sites. Many friends and family recount Nobles kindness and generous nature. He never knew a stranger. Most appreciative of Nobles loving influence are his daughter, Susan Finley Driesel, son-in-law, Bill Driesel, granddaughter, Miranda Moore and husband Matt, grandson, Christopher Grant Driesel and wife, Karrie, and Nobles great grandchildren, Crew and Cecilia Driesel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 31, 2013, 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 15th and Rockford, Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, memoriam may be made to Life Senior Services, where Noble was famous for his "naval salute" and comedic antics. Condolences may be sent through the guest book on this page.
