Ollie M. Crisp Jr., 66, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 20th, 2019. Born to Vivian Crisp and Ollie M. Crisp Sr. August 10, 1952 in Grayson, Oklahoma. Ollie graduated from Dewar High School and attended elementary school at Grayson School. He went on to complete his education at Okmulgee State Tech and graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts.
Mr. Crisp recently retired from Velmont Steel where he was employed for 39 years. Ollie was a member of 20 Gents Organization and an usher at Greater Union Baptist Church. He had several hobbies including cooking, cake decoration, bowling, listening to jazz, and working in yard business. Most of all, Ollie loved family gatherings.
He is preceded in death by his father Ollie M. Crisp Sr., mother Vivian Crisp, brothers: Alden, Cedell, and Richard Crisp; daughters: Tyra Olden and Kandra Crisp Logan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Regina Crisp, daughters: Crystal Lynn Crisp, Nicole Johnson; sons: Rashad Crisp, Jihan M. Crisp, Kevin Peoples; sisters: Darlene Crawford and husband Jerry Crawford, Lynn Crisp; brothers: Theoplis Crisp, Carl Crisp; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and an abundance of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Mr. Crisp can be made to Regina Crisp.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 26th, 3-8, at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home Chapel, 2103 East 3rd Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Services will be Saturday, April 27th, 11am, at Greater Union Baptist Church, 955 East 36th Street North, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74106.
