Pamela Sue Stewart, 58, of Broken Arrow, Okahoma passed away August 26, 2016. She was born December 3, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edward Charles and Wanda Lee (Lance) Lillich. Maybe youve slept on her couch. Maybe youve eaten her peanut butter cookies or played video games with her until 3 A.M. Maybe shes made you laugh when you haven't truly laughed in weeks or told you exactly what you needed to hear when no one else would. Or maybe she just invited you over for Thanksgiving dinner to make you part of the family when you thought you had none. She made an impact on every soul she met. Pam was the second eldest of six (Terry, Ranell, Ronda, Timothy, and Mitchell). She had a very colorful, tumultuous upbringing that molded her into the strong woman she fought to become. After settling down from a wild youth, she made a life-long commitment to the love of her life, Claudia Denise Miller, on March 13th, 1993 and kept that beautiful commitment until death did they part. Together they raised a plethora of foster children and their niece, Amanda Danielle Rappenecker, who is now having a child of her own with husband, Jeremy. Pam loved her two wonderful daughters, Angela Marlene Seifert and Wanda LaVonne McInturff and their husbands, Eddie and Dane respectively, who gave her 8 precious grandbabies, and ultimately, 7 great grandbabies whom she loved with all of her heart. Her friends usually became family and the family always grew. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda, her Aunt Marlene, and Aunt Sue and will be thrilled to finally be with them again and to meet her Creator. The diagnosis of COPD/Emphysema never kept her down. She decided to obtain her Associate's degree at the age of 48. This finally made it so she could have her high school diploma (which she was more proud of than any degree she received thereafter). She then went on to obtain her Bachelor Degree and, ultimately, her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Langston University. She then fulfilled her passion and became a counselor at a center for addiction treatment and recovery, 12 12 Inc. Pam enjoyed crocheting afghans for her grandbabies, fishing at the Keystone dam on a cool Oklahoma day, and taking spur-of-the-moment road trips to New Orleans for a beignet and chicory. She never ate a whole meal, because she always offered her beloved dog, Chance, half (or more) of her plate. She dobbed the table for luck when she played bingo, confidently made unbelievable shots playing pool, and was more excited about the newest Zelda than anyone 13-year-old boy you know. She also almost cried when she finally found a pair of pants that would actually cover her long legs to the bottom, because she never could find a size that would fit her correctly. Sassy, but tasteful. Biggest heart of gold. Modest and spontaneous. Strong and knowing. Sympathetic ear and no nonsense attitude. The best hugger on the planet and an absolute force to be reckoned with. Amazing. Remarkable. Unforgettable.
