Patric 'Pat' Joseph Nelson, loving brother and father passed from this life on April 5, 2013 to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ at the age of 49. He was born on May 21, 1963 in Hawthorne, CA. Well travelled during his childhood, Pat finally came to call Tulsa his home and there he honed his skills as a talented carpenter. A gifted and award winning artist, he used that gift in every job he performed, sometimes taking a 'bit' too long to make it just right. A lover of all things outdoors, Pat took great pride in his organic gardens and caring for his adopted dogs. He enjoyed fishing and camping and never lost the desire to climb a tree. Pat was preceded in death by his parents Philip E. Nelson Jr. and Norma Jean Nelson. He is survived by his son Trestin Baldwin and wife Brandy, brother Philip Nelson, sisters Lynn Cicle and Sherry Dovin and twin brother Vincent Nelson, his loving aunt Carolyn Ruch and many cousins, nieces and nephews and his grandchildren. A private memorial is being held with a Celebration of Life gathering to be announced.
