IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Cook
May 9, 1947 – April 3, 2024
Patricia Ann Cook 76, passed away Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024. Born on May 9th, 1947, She
was the daughter of Harry and Marguerite Daniels. Patty was preceded in death by her beloved
husband Albert Cook, Son Nathan Cook, and Brothers Sonny, Tommy, and Butch Daniels.
In her early years, Patty loved to be called "Daddy's little Girl" and enjoyed her walk to and from
school with her mom where she would regularly win in the race back to their home. On
November 7th, 1966, she married the love of her life, Albert Cook, in Wichita. They would go on
to have two children and make their home in Haysville, Kansas, where they became active
members at the First Baptist Church of Haysville; forming lasting friendships and strong faith.
Patty inspired those around her with her faithfulness and relationship with God, she was
instrumental in her family and friend's salvation.
Patty had a passion for life and love for all people. She showed that love in her job as a para at
Levy Special Ed Center for 25 years. She always had a special place in her heart for the
students she worked with. Those around her were always made to feel special and loved
whether by her preparing a favorite meal or dessert or just a call to check in and say "I'm
thinking of you", she always knew how to make others smile. One of her favorite ways to spend
her time was with her Grandchildren, Haylee and Elijah. She never spared effort when
celebrating holidays or birthdays for her grandchildren and made each moment count with the
love she put into them. Within her extended family she was always the favorite Aunt, Great
Aunt, and Cousin.
She is survived by Brother Jimmy (Mickey) Daniels, Daughter Sherrie (Tim) D'Arelli,
Granddaughter Haylee (Devon) Rogers, Grandson Elijah (Sofia) D'Arelli, Great-Grandson
Clayton Rogers, Great-Grandson Gianni D'Arelli and many other beloved family and friends.
