Patricia A. (Woodard) Rains was born December 15, 1944 in Pecos, Texas to Lewis H. and Syble E. Woodard. She was saved and baptized in 1965 in Monahans, Texas. Patricia attended school in Pecos, Texas graduating from high school in 1963. During this time she was a member of the cheerleading squad, sang with the choir and was a member of the drama club. She was honored with the titles: Basketball Queen and the Lion's Club Sweetheart. Following high school, Patricia attended Valita Reeves Cosmetology School in Big Springs, Texas, graduating in 1968. On April 10, 1965, Patricia married Billie D. Rains at Calvary Baptist Church in Pecos, Texas. Together they had two children: Steven Christopher Rains and the late Keely Kaye Rains (1976-1994). Patricia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Billie Rains, son, Steven Rains, grandchildren: Kyle Rains, Skylar Rains, and Savannah Rains; siblings: Merna Woodard and Lessie Woodard; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma
