BROOKS, Perry Mark Jr. 69, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Friday, April 27, 2012. Perry was born November 16, 1942, in Sapulpa, OK to Mark and Aline Brooks. He was a 1960 graduate of Sapulpa High School where he was a member of the marching band. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served nearly five years as a Motor Transport Mechanic. Prior to concluding his service, Perry spent his last two-and-a-half years overseas in Japan and Viet Nam. After his military service he worked as an auto mechanic, machinist and in the construction business, additionally he served as a Deputy on the Creek County Sherriff's Department. He enjoyed woodcrafts, fishing, dancing, and most of all Sooner football. Survivors are son Doug, daughter-in-law Sandy and granddaughter Rachel as well as three step-children Teresa Harrell, Carol Carlock and Jerry Cook; sisters Barbara McCormick and Melita Holt of Sapulpa. He was preceded by his parents.
