Obituary

A TIME TO BE BORN Prentiss Hinds was born April 3, 1935, to the union of Eddie and Lettie Marie Hinds in Gassoway, Louisiana. Prentiss (His family called him Main) was the eldest of nine (9) siblings. A TIME TO GROW Prentiss proudly served his country in Germany during Peacetime from February 26, 1954 through January 23, 1957. He attained the Rank of E4 and separated from the Army with an Honorable Discharge. He then traveled throughout the United States where he worked as a Laborer. A TIME TO DIE On Thursday, May 26, 2016, at 3:40 AM, God in His infinite wisdom, reclaimed the life of His servant, Prentiss Hinds, and lovingly enfolded him in His everlasting arms. He left a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish his memory and mourn his passing as well as his siblings: Eddie Hinds, Jr., Stacy Hinds, Ms. Dale M. Hinds, Ms. Regina K. McCaskill, Mrs. Henrietta Morales and Ms. Belinda Hinds. Both parents and siblings, Richard Hinds and Verde Jean Hinds, preceded Prentiss in death.
