Randall Dwayne Whalen, 54, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on November 2, 2014 at Saint Francis Hospital. A memorial tribute will be held at 3pm, Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Henthorne PAC, 4825 S. Quaker, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Randy was born August 25, 1960 in Cushing, Oklahoma. Randy received an Associate's Degree in Theatre from Northeastern Oklahoma AM College. He continued his education and received a Certificate in Surgical Technology. Randy was a 30 year St. Francis employee. Randys greatest love was his work in Tulsa theatre, most recently with Theatre Pops. He has acted, directed and produced many works in local theatre, as well as several video productions and a movie called 'Dark before Dawn.' Randy was preceded in death by his father, William Richard Whalen and brother, Daniel Joseph Whalen. Survivors include: Mother, Joyce Whalen of Sand Springs Nursing Center. Sister, Janice Thompson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Brother, Rick Whalen and his wife, Sally of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Nephew, Matt Whalen of Miami, Oklahoma. Nieces, Shannon Taylor and her husband James of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Shelli Ridenour and Bobby Ridenour of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Karissa Whalen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Laura Shepherd and her husband Billy of Yukon, Oklahoma. Great nieces, Bayli Ridenour and Libby Shepherd and a host of other relatives.
