Raymond "Bo" Bowie was the seventh child born to Jacob, Sr. and Marion Bowie on December 12, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended Raymond McLain High School class of 1986. Bo was a very happy child. From his childhood to adult life he was always at the park playing basketball. Bo would teach the kids, from nephews to the Apache kids, better known as A-Patch. You could always get a show of fun and laughter with Uncle Bo and Uncle JJ. Bo also enjoyed watching the Harlem Globetrotters. Bo was a good friend, great uncle and the best brother you could have. He was a big joker and always kept you laughing; so please don't cry for me. Laugh at me or with me to keep me in your hearts, because I watch over you with lots of love and a smile from heaven bound. Love You All, Bo. Bo is preceded in death by his grandparents: Arby and Thelma Adams, Jay and Irene Bowie; brothers: James Adams, Jacob (JJ) Bowie, Jr.; niece: Brittany L. Nears; cousins; uncles and aunts. Those left to cherish Bo's memory are Matthew Marion Bowie; brothers: Joseph and Lori Bowie, Nigel Allan Bowie, Anthony Bowie, Dewey Nears, Mark Furnace; sisters: Lucille Bowie, Irene Bowie; nephews: Marcus Bowie, Thomas Bowie, David Bowie, Patrick Bowie, Richard Bowie, Pion Bowie, Andrew Bowie, Anthony Bowie, Chad Bowie, Miles Bowie; nieces: Avis Bowie, Alex Bowie, LaToya and Lucretia Bowie, Tiffany Bowie and Brooke Bowie; grand nephews and nieces: James, Darius, Antwine, Antonio, Avion, LilPat, James, Rashawn, Kayvon, McKenzie, Precious Arare, Khari, Page, Asia, Mari along with a host of cousins, uncles, aunts and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Church of the Living God.
