Raymond Melvin Cook, passed away at the age of 83 at home, on Sunday June 2nd, 2024 in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was the loving father of Stephanie Tate.

Raymond was known for many things, first and foremost was the love of his life Carolyn Sue and daughter Stephanie. For most of his working career he transported milk from the dairy farm to the dairy, he skillfully drove that milk truck through any weather, day or night. Raymond was remarkably skilled, he could fix almost anything. An original do-it-yourself person. One of his many hobbies was wine-making.

Born and named Raymond Melvin Cook in Stafford Oklahoma on July 8, 1940 to parents Melvin and Thelma. Raymond later married Carolyn Sue Bond on December 3, 1965 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. After a short time they welcomed their daughter Stephanie to the family. Raymond and Sue were married 53 years until her passing in 2019.

He enjoyed talking to others about mankind's future hope of a paradise earth as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Raymond loved spending time with family outdoors fishing, camping, grilling, and playing dominos. In his later years you could find him enjoying western movies, tv shows, pedicures, and outings with his daughter.

Survivors include his daughter Stephanie Tate and her husband Greg Tate, grand-daughter Ashley Tate and her husband Nick Garcia, great grandsons, Levi Mencer, Noah Garcia, and Gabriel Garcia. Surviving brothers include Eugene Cloud, and Don McLaughlin. Surviving sisters include, June McLaughlin Langley, Jannette McLaughlin Steverson, and Pat McLaughlin Sodders. Surviving sister-In-law Retha Bond. Surviving nieces include Mable Milam and her daughter Christina, Retha McGlothin and her daughter Heather, niece Ann Davis Baskin (daughter of Billie Deanna Cloud Davis), niece Tina Nunn and her daughter Chelsea, niece Kelly Gill and her daughter Taylor, and many other beloved nieces, and nephews.

Raymond Melvin Cook was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sue, his sisters Gola Faye Cook Langley, Linda Cook Gallaway, Billie Deanna Cloud Davis and Delores Cloud Stinnet, his brothers Odell Cook, Melvin Erwin Cook, Jr., and Bobby Cook. His sister-in-law, Patsy Post, and her daughter Kathy Marie Post Pultz. His brothers-in-law, Billy Bond, Jerry Bond, and Jimmy Bond.
