Richard Loren "Dick" Bishop, a Tulsa Police Department Homicide Detective, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013, at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dick was born September 22, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Columbus Loren and Lucille Elaine (Cochran) Bishop. He was 68 years old. Dick was a Veteran of the Oklahoma National Guard. He is survived by his wife Gloria Gene (Cowan) Bishop of the home, one son Erick Loren Bishop and wife Yvonne of Tulsa, two grandchildren, and one sister Judy Slagle of Owasso.
