Robert "Bobby" Paul Sammarco, 56, a salesman of Claremore, Oklahoma, died February 7, 2013. Bobby was born in Queens, New York, but grew up in East Meadow, New York. He went to high school at Saint Pius X Preparatory Seminary, and college at Nassau Community College. As an adult, Bobby lived in several different states, finally laying down roots in Oklahoma. Bobby met his wife Kathy, a mother of two adult children, in 2005. They were married a year later. He was blessed to have three wonderful grandchildren who were the light of his life. Bobby was a faithful christian and was very active in his church. He loved to sing and was always making people laugh. He was devoted to his faith and family, and still had many friend he had known since high school. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Gennaro Sammarco. Survivors include his wife Kathy of Claremore, OK, his mother Florence Sammarco of East Meadow, NY, sister Barbara Sammarco of North Babylon, NY, sister Diane Sammarco of East Meadow, NY, niece Natalie D'Ambrosio and son Jacob of Babylon, NY, niece Katie Sammarco of Penn. State, step-daughters Andriah Bedford and Erica Hartle, and grandchildren Izaak and Kloe Bowlin and Caydence Conine, all of Claremore, OK, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
