Obituary

Robert Kenneth Steinkirchner, 72, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on September 22, 2025. He was born in Tampa, Florida, on August 28, 1953, to the late Kenneth K. and Mary R. "Gene" Steinkirchner.

Robert graduated from Memorial High School and went on to attend Oklahoma State University before answering the call to serve in the United States Army. He earned the distinction of becoming an Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment, one of the military's most elite units, and later served in the 101st Airborne Division--the storied "Screaming Eagles." His time in uniform reflected his dedication, courage, and sense of duty, qualities that remained central throughout his life.

After completing his military service, Robert returned to Oklahoma to continue his education. He worked for Rockwell International before relocating to Grand Lake, where he served as Property Manager for Spinnaker Point Estates for nearly 40 years. In earlier years, he also served as Scoutmaster of Troop 73 and was a member of the Ketchum School Board.

Robert was an avid fan of OSU football, enjoyed golfing, and loved boating on Grand Lake with family and friends. His steady presence, good humor, and commitment to those around him will be deeply missed.

He is remembered by his family as a loyal husband, caring father, and loving grandfather. Robert is survived by his wife, Shujun "Dream" Li Steinkirchner; his sons, Robert K. (wife Shelby) and Jordan M., from his marriage to Janice; his granddaughter, Sidney; his twin brother, Richard B. (wife Carol); his sister, Karen M. (husband Rick Jaep) of Tucson, Arizona; his brother, James E. (wife Leanne) of Huntington Beach, California; his brother, Thomas M. (former wife Pam) of Plano, Texas; and many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by Dream's daughter, Na Robineau (husband TJ) of Shoreview, Minnesota, and their children, Nathaniel and Lily. In accordance with Robert's wishes, no formal service will be held.
