Ronald L. Shaffer, age 81, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away April 5, 2018. Mr. Shaffer was born July 16, 1936 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Ronald received his law degree from the University of Tulsa. He was a district judge. Ronald worked for the Tulsa County Courthouse spanned for 50 years from 1957 to 2007. Ronald started in the Court Clerk's office, then the District Attorney's office for 17 years, 12 of those years he was Chief Prosecutor. And Judge from 1981 to 2007. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Vella Shaffer; first wife: Linda and son: Ricky. Survivors include his wife: Teri; two daughters; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was especially close to family that he and Teri shared the last 27 years, Gary and Carol Cowan, Tami and Kevin Smith, Brandi and Shelby Cowan, Angie and Grand Weese, Destiny Arroyo, Malik White, Nickle and Victoria Shaffer, Kye and Taylor Tannehill.
