Rose Laverne Mathis, age 71, passed away on February 23, 2016 in Tulsa. Rose was born November 6, 1944 in Tulsa to Louie and Odessa Burrell in Tulsa. She worked as a cook. She is survived by her daughter: Darah L. McLain; grandchildren: Alyshia, Darah, Immanuel, Victor, Kamyia; great grandchildren: Leah, Lauren; great great grandchildren: Karrah, Trulee and Emmit along with a host of other family and friends.
