Russell Parker Dexter, 89, of Tulsa, passed away November 1st, 2015. Russell was born in North Scituate, Rhode Island on February 14, 1926 to Stephen and Adele Dexter. Russell is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Jane Whitlow Dexter, two children Diane Stamm and husband Greg of Broken Arrow, and David Dexter and wife Becky of Broken Arrow, and four grandchildren, Amanda Pitcock and husband Daniel, Stephanie Stamm, Emily Dexter, and Ashley Stamm. Russell was a member of the Air Force serving in both WWII and Korea. He made a profession as a Mortgage Banker and a CPA. Russell kept active in his CPA practice until retiring at the age of 87. Russell was a 48 year member of the Wesley Sunday School class at Christ United Methodist Church. Russell's family and friends will celebrate his life at 4pm, Friday, November 13th, 2015 at Christ United Methodist, 3515 S. Harvard in Tulsa.
