On Sunday, November 15th, 2020, Sarah Literski, beautiful daughter and sister, entered eternal life at 24
Sarah was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but spent most of her life in Georgia with her family. She spent her last years living in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with loved ones.
As a little girl, Sarah was known by the nicknames of "Mouth of the South" and "Chipmunk." She acquired the nickname "Mouth of the South" for her love of people and her love of getting to know everyone. Then, young Sarah picked up the nickname "Chipmunk" because she would always keep a little bit of food stuffed in her cheeks, snickering, "YUM! I'm going to save it for later".
Aside from her nicknames, Sarah's daredevil knack for catching snakes defined her; without a thought, she would pick up any snake in her path, identify it, and teach others about it. Sarah's heart yearned for adventures but could also be satisfied by staying put and creating. She loved to produce art and appreciate other's artwork.
Sarah developed into a fearless and eccentric young lady with infectious laughter, charm, and the deepest love for people throughout her life.
For years, Sarah wrestled with the disease of addiction. Deep down, Sarah always wanted the best for herself and others.
If you would like to help others fight this disease, in place of flowers, you may make donations in Sarah's name to www.davisdirection.org(The Zone).
Sarah was preceded in death by her aunt, Jessica Fink of Lexington, KY.
She is survived by her father, Daniel P. Literski of Fla., mother and step-father, Karen Literski and Doug Fair or Marietta, GA, sister, Emma Caroline Literski of Laramie, Wyoming, grandparents, Robert and Mary Fink of Beckley, West Virginia and grandmother, My-Yen Fair of Columbia, South Carolina.
