Obituary

Sean Brady Ratliff was born on August 11, 1962. He was the son of Daniel Douglas Ratliff and Julia Brady Ratliff; the brother of Blake Douglas Ratliff; grandson of Douglas Lafayette Ratliff and Ada Gay Ratliff; of Russell Brown Brady and Evelyn Dunn Brady. He has had a good and productive life; a happy life, a talented varsity pitcher, many friends, a mother, father, and brother who loved him dearly, grandfathers and grandmothers who loved and cherished him and who were cherished by him in return. He went to Eliot and Barnard Elementary, to Carver, to Edison, to Oklahoma State University. When he graduated he returned to Tulsa and added a list of accounting classes to his degree. He received a Certified Public Accountant Certificate and immediately began to work as an accountant for the City of Tulsa; rising to the position of Utilities Systems Manager. It was while he was studying for his CPA that Sean met a beautiful girl and then took a plane to Tulsas Sister City, San Luis Potosi. Maria del Socorro Garcia Ramos, Coco, came to stay in Tulsa with his mother and she became friends with his family. This led to a wedding, which led to twins a year later and then to a baby sister. Sean was a wonderful daddy and Coco a wonderful mom; doing everything possible to see to it that their girls got the best that they, their family, and Tulsa could offer. Lisa and Magi and Nicole, Lisa Maria Ratliff, Margarita Lorena Ratliff, Nicole Brady Ratliff and added great joy to their family. As we say goodbye to this good man, we will hold back memories of his strength and kindness to sustain us. Service: 04/06/2017 00:00 4:00 p.m. Our Savior Lutheran Church
