Shari Lynn Ritchie, 63, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away in her home in the care of hospice and her loved ones on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Shari was born on March 2, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of four children. Shari attended Rogers High School and married her best friend, David Allen Ritchie, in December 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, including traveling to various landmarks and casinos as well as going on cruises. She is survived by her husband of over 45 years; her son, David Allen Ritchie II and wife, Christy of Tulsa, OK; her daughter, Jennifer Michelle Unruh and husband, Randy of Stillwater, OK; her sister, Lavonne Tubbs of Claremore, OK; her sister, Joy Kardos of Broken Arrow, OK; and her six grandchildren, Lindee, "Trip", Conner, Landon, Avery, and Evan. Due to COVID-19, the family has decided to not hold a traditional funeral service. However, there will be a small ash scattering ceremony and prayer on Friday, October 9th at 2:00pm at Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens in south Tulsa. If attending, please wear masks and social distance. Shari was a strong believer in giving back to her community.
