Shirley Ann Hannefield passed away on Thursday June 20, 2024 after a battle with cancer. Up until the very end, Shirley led her life with strength, grace, kindness and love.

Shirley was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on March 6, 1939. After graduating from Central High School, she started a family with her first husband James Ruskoski and was a devoted mother. Later in life she started a career at the Tulsa County Treasurer office where she was a dedicated employee until retirement. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, traveling, and caring for her little dog Molly.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Hubert Wise and her husband Richard Hannefield. Shirley is survived by her children, James Ruskoski Jr (Cindy), Greg Ruskoski and Kathy Gamble (Keith).

One of her favorite roles was Grandmother and Great grandmother, and she never forgot a birthday or special event in anyone's life. Shirley's love and kindness will continue to live on through her grandchildren, Elise Nguyen (Steve), Matt Ruskoski (Ashley), Dustin Gamble (Heather), Lindsay Funderburk (Josh), Eric Ruskoski and Molly Ruskoski and her great grandchildren Josh, Sophie, Wren, Hudsen, Jasper, Olive, Maverick, Aidan, Adelaide and Benedict.

Shirley is also survived by her two sisters, Brenda Bolen and Helen Bauscom.

Shirley's love for her family and friends will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
