Shirley Ann Richeson, AGE 86, passed away, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born February 3, 1937 to Frank "Big" Jackson and Vernalee (Stubblefield) Jackson in Pryor, OK. Shirley was the first daughter born to Frank and Vernalee. She attended Pryor High School and graduated with the Class of 1955.

She married Robert "Bob" Niel Robinson on December 31, 1957 in California and he passed away October 1975. She married her second husband Junior Richeson (the love of her life) on June 13, 1983 in Wyoming where they lived for 34 years until he passed away on June 13, 2016. Shirley then relocated to Grove, OK to live by her daughter.

Shirley finished her race strong! She dressed in boots, jeans and blouse most of the time. She loved a spontaneous road trip, fireside weenie roast, dancing, fish-fry's and you could find her packing around a paperback book of her favorite American novelist Louis L 'Amour. She loved the many years living in Wyoming with her beloved husband Junior and loved taking long walks on their property in Platte County. She was fun loving, spoke her mind and was always game to stir up cocktails. Her passion burned brighter than her fears.

In the past several years while living in Grove with her daughter, Shirley claimed a special place in her daughter's heart, one she'll carry with her forever and that no one can replace. We will remember the best times, laughter and fierce love we shared. We will have a great reunion one day in heaven where we will share eternity together with no tears or sorrow.

"Her red hair burns like the rays of the sun, I see her and I am lit. For she is beautiful beyond compare, the girl with blue eyes and fire for hair."

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Lori Arnold and husband, Jim Arnold of Grove. Grandchildren David Edwards and wife Ashley of Junction City, KS; Jill Morris and husband James of Tulsa; Matt Arnold and wife Courtney of Grove and 7 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Lyn Parks and husband Fred of Pryor, Betsy Lary of Pryor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Emma Jean Coleman, her husbands, daughter Nance Lee Robinson, sons James Bret Robinson and Frank Timothy Robinson and Grandson Buddy Arnold.

Private graveside services will be held at Olympus North Cemetery, Grove, OK.
