Stacy Margaret (Bomer) Owens, 49, died at Bailey Hospital, in Owasso OK, on November 25, 2015, from complications after surgery. She was born to Tom and Carlene Bomer on July 30, 1966 in Oakland, CA. As a toddler, she enjoyed the lavish attention of her grandparents, Delbert and Polly Bomer and George and Lil Adams. In 1975, she moved to Hawaii, with her mother and stepfather. In 1980, she relocated to her fathers' home in Tulsa OK. She was a graduate of Tulsa's East Central High School, class of 1984. After graduation she lived in Arizona and Northern California. In 1989, she returned to Tulsa, to the home of her father and stepmother. She attended Tulsa Community College (TCC) and received an Associate of Arts degree in Drafting Technology. After graduation from TCC, she worked as a draftsman for Ameron, GEA Rainey, and Braden Manufacturing. In 1992, she met and married Wade Owens. They made their home in Owasso OK. The joys of her life were their children, Zachariah Ray Owens and Audra Jane Owens. Stacy and Wade divorced in 2010. Stacy had a kind and generous spirit. She loved the Eagles, Pink Floyd, and most of all, Led Zeppelin. Her wry sense of humor, and contagious laugh, will be missed by all who knew her. Stacy was preceded in death by her birth mother, Carlene (Adams) Bomer Griffin, and grandparents Delbert and Polly Bomer, and George and Lil Adams. She is survived by her son Zachariah Ray Owens and his wife Lyndsey, daughter Audra Jane Owens, parents Tom and Francie Bomer, brother Nathan Bomer, sisters Christie Stagg and Madison Chase, stepfather Greg Griffin and his wife Kay, and numerous friends and extended family. There will be a memorial celebration at 2:00pm, on December 19, 2015, at the Cremation Society of Oklahoma 2103 E 3rd Street #101, Tulsa OK - To honor Stacy's love of Christmas, you are invited to wear holiday colors, especially red which was her favorite.
