Stephen Eugene Patterson, 64, passed away on April 21, 2026. He was born on February 24, 1962 to Ruby Holladay and James Patterson in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

He lived in Houston and attended Texas A&M and graduated from the University of Tulsa after studying art and computer science. Stephen also lived in Hermosa Beach, California and Loveland, Colorado before moving back to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he spent most of his life.

Stephen was in a band with his friends when he was younger. He enjoyed books, art, music, tennis, University of Tulsa basketball, coffee, and movies. He was thoughtful, creative, and shared his love for music with others.

He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children. His loved ones have many memories of concerts, road trips, tennis tournaments, and Disneyland adventures with him.

He is survived by daughter Allison Knudson and son Zak Patterson. His extended family includes Teresa Patterson, Suzan Ready, Caroline Richardson, and Hoyt Richardson. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
