Stephen Michael Robertson passed from this life March 22, 2025. He was born April 21, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Ella Ray Rodden and William Harrison Robertson, Jr. Steve was preceded in death by a son, William Harrison Robertson, III, a sister Sue Valliere, a brother James Valliere and his parents.

Steve was well known for his skills as a song writer andmusician. His ability to write words and music was with him at an early age. He seemed to be inspired to write at odd times and would write on whatever was handy….on the back of junk mail, paper plates (used or not), the inside of the foil that was in cigarette packages. Nothing could be thrown away without a good look at it to see if there was something written. Steve could play most any musical instrument he touched. It was a natural skill to walk up to an instrument, listen to the tones of it, figure out the scales and play a song. Within a few minutes. Just like that. Likewise, when he went into carpentry, his cousin Bill taught him the basics and, within three or four years,was working with interior designers in Tulsa such as Charles Faudree. Stephen understood the nuances of flow whether it was music, art, or master woodworking. With a great sense of humor, he approached life as an adventure. He was probably happiest when he was traveling alone with no particular goal in mind. He made friends easily. He eschewed structure and lived his life on his own terms. His keen mind will be missed.

He leaves behind two daughters, Barbara Joanne Giangreco of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Katherine Elizabeth Robertson of Ketchum, Oklahoma, as well as six grandchildren.
