Stephen Duane Thomasson, Jr., lovingly known as "Bud", left this world for his heavenly home on October 13, 2023. Stephen was born on November 18, 1974, into the loving arms of Steve & Terri Thomasson.

Stephen graduated Bartlesville High School in 1993, where he enjoyed years of football, baseball and basketball and excelled in academics. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps for four years where he had two overseas deployments. Upon his honorable discharge in 1997, he returned to Bartlesville where he began his career in manufacturing as a skilled machinist.

The highlight of Stephen's life was the birth of his son, Stephen, whom he loved, heart and soul. Stephen loved the Lord, his family and beloved pets. He had an easy smile and kind heart for anyone blessed enough to meet him. He loved watching the OU Sooners, motorcycles, car racing and just spending time doing the simple things in life. He never wanted for much he just gave. He had a very special bond with his sister, Stephanie, his partner in crime, their bond was unbreakable. He loved to pester her and get her going and then hug her when he was done.

Stephen will always be remembered for his gentle and quiet spirit. He always found good in everyone he met. He was easy to love and so very hard to lose. We will forever be blessed he was our son; we gave him life and he returned that with love beyond measure. We are forever grateful for the memories Stephen gave us but so sad for the ones that were yet to be made.

There are no goodbyes for us, we will carry you in our hearts until we meet again and can hold you in our arms. In our hearts, you live on and walk beside us. Our shining light to show us the way.

Stephen was preceded in death by grandparents, Wayne & Beverly Hill, Spike & Ellen Hunnicutt, Uncles'' Tom, Denny & Aunt JoAnn. Survivors include his Son Stephen Thomasson III of Bartlesville, OK; parents' Steve & Terri Thomasson of Bartlesville, OK; sister Stephanie Thomasson of Bartlesville, OK; Aunts Sharon & Phil Frazier of Tulsa, OK; Norma Macy of Miami, OK; Peggy Mahurin of Fairland, OK, Shelly & Eddie Gaston of Sapulpa, OK, Uncle Gary Hill of Fairland, OK and numerous cousins.
