Stevan Michael Freeman (75) from Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 18, 2023. He was born to Kenneth and Miriam Freeman on December 12, 1947, and was the oldest of four children. He grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1966. "Mike" attended OSU, and was a vocalist for the cover band Marble Phrogg during his time in Stillwater. He was drafted into the US Army in 1969, and sent to Germany where he was assigned to Airfield Operations. He was later stationed in Vietnam until 1971. Mike trained as a goldsmith, and worked for the family business. He later continued his Computer Science studies at TU and TCC, and worked in that field for many years. He was a gifted artist, and painted miniature figurines with the most intricate detail.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Miriam Freeman and his sister Phyliss. He is survived by his brother Keith (Vicki), brother Curtis (Cathy), his nieces and nephews Jeff Freeman, Elisha (Jeremy) Lau, Jessica (Jason) Charlesworth, Natalie Freeman, Amanda (Bryan) Shook, Michael (Delaney) Freeman, Christine (Taylor) Reed, Tyler (Ashleigh) Freeman, Daniel (Megan) Freeman, and 13 great nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held for close family.
