Susan Nash passed away on the evening of July 1, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Susan was also a resident of West Warren for almost 40 years.
She was always creating a variety of beautiful paintings, drawings and pottery, as she had an incredible knack for the arts. A strong desire for adventure and travel led her westward to the Rocky Mountains where she would continue her lifelong study of the arts and the need to satisfy her venturesome spirit. There working with the Outward Bound organization, she was introduced to her husband of almost 50 years. Their adventures together eventually led them to a home in Western Massachusetts where they raised a family. In Massachusetts, along with raising that family, she held positions that would lead her to preparing meals for royal families, helping at the schools her children attended, working in orchards and becoming part-owner of a wedding photography studio as well as a framing and matting studio.
In her later years while snowbirding in Tulsa, her yearn for travel and the arts came calling again when she became a seamstress with the Tulsa Ballet and was able to travel the world. Nothing of her desire for the arts and adventure could compare to her love for her family and she will be tremendously missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Betty Pinkosky and survived by her brothers Richard and Paul.
She is survived by her loving husband, John (Jack) Nash and two children, Brendan Nash of Louisiana, and Rebecca Major and her husband Dan who reside in Colorado and their daughters, that captured Susan's love the most, Carolyn and Molly.
