Ted W. Skinner, age 84, passed away February 14, 2014 at his home in Canadian, Oklahoma. Ted was born February 6, 1930 to Theodore Skinner and Rose (Hubbard) Skinner in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Right out of high School he joined the Air Force where he served our country for over 20 years until his retirement in 1968. Ted was an avid fisherman and loved to be outdoors and camp. He loved to take his family camping and fishing with him when he could. Every winter him and his wife, Patsy would travel to the warmth of Mexico. Ted was always the first to help a neighbor and family out in any way possible. Ted was also a member of the masons. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, and wife of many years Patsy Skinner. Brothers; John Skinner, Laren Skinner, Otis Skinner, Leo Skinner, and Kenneth Skinner as well as sister; Ella Sherlock. Ted is survived by his two sisters Lorna Castleberry and Audrey Windsor. Children; LaDona Batizy husband Gabor of Lavelle, Wisconsin, Sharon Williams of Canadian, Oklahoma and Mark Coatney wife Linda of Chouteau, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Patricia Harris, Dakota Coatney, and Ashley Coatney. As well as four great grandchildren; Hailee, Dallas, Bailey and Jacie and Uncle James Hubbard. Funeral services are going to be held at Ft. Gibson Cemetery, Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00pm with United States Air Force Honor Guard.
