Thomas Emmett Ikard, age 82, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away April 11, 2018. He was born August 4, 1935 in Clayton, New Mexico to Robert and Agnes Erma Ikard. Thomas attended PAMC from 1953 to 1957. He joined the Army in 1957 to 1960 in the anti-aircraft missile defense. After receiving his Masters' Degree in 1963, he went on to receive his Doctorate in mathematics in 1969. He worked at Conoco from 1979 to 1993. In 1995 he taught and tutored at OSU until his retirement in 2014. He loved his students and stayed in touch with most of them through the years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. Thomas is survived by his wife: Phyllis; son: Kurt Ikard; grandson: Jacob Graves; granddaughter: Tara Ikard; brothers: Robert Ikard and Charles Ikard; sister: Karen Ferguson. The family askes in lieu of flowers donations of time or money be made to the charity of your choice.
