IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Francis
Mullen
January 26, 1956 – May 7, 2025
Thomas Francis Mullen, 69, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in 1956 in Plainview, New York, Tom was the son of the late Thomas and Ann Mullen. He attended Cobleskill High School as part of the Class of 1974 and soon after began pursuing his passion for working with cars, spending his life as a dedicated and talented automotive mechanic.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Gutierrez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Mullen, of the home; his sisters Maureen Brull of Dryden, New York, and Susan Atkinson of Lancaster, South Carolina; and his children: Michael Mullen and wife Erika of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Bradley Mullen and Billie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Samantha Wendland and husband Coe of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Angel Gutierrez and wife Liz of Georgia and Jesse Witt of the home. He also leaves behind his favorite son—his fur baby, "Jack-Jack."
Tom was a proud grandfather to Tyler Mullen, Keegan Mullen, Dominic Mullen, Zackary Mullen, Shannan Corkerin, Taylor Sneider, Tenleigh Wendland, and Wyatt Wendland. He is also remembered fondly by numerous friends and extended family.
A true gearhead, Tom could always be found in the garage, whether working on a race car, a Harley, or helping a friend. He especially enjoyed building his Pinto with his close friend, Sam. He was a die-hard Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees fan, a passionate cook with a love for Italian food, and a natural on the karaoke mic.
But above all, Tom's greatest love was his family. Known for his loud, outgoing personality and generous spirit, he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness, humor, and fierce loyalty will never be forgotten.
Tom's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
