Thomas "Tom" Wayne Akers, age 81, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Supulpa. Tom was born May 18, 1933 in Broken Arrow to Raymond Harve and Hazel Louise (Oliphant) Akers. After being discharged for the marine corps, Tom worked as a contractor for the residential construction industry. Tom is survived by his wife of over 30 years Claudette Marie Akers. Memorial services for Tom will be at the community room at the Garden Park Apartments, 207 N. Hickory in Sapulpa.
