The checkered flag was waved on Saturday, April 27th, 2019, to bring home Timothy Joe Dossey. Born January 16th, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Harley and Rena Dossey. He graduted from Nathan Hale High School, then went on to obtain his Bachelor's from The University of Tulsa. During this time he became a member of the John Zink racing crew, which gave him many of his favorite memories and life-long friends. He had a successful flooring business, created a beautiful family, then retired to spend more time with his grand children. His family was his proudest achievement. Tim is preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his daughter Autumn Sloan and husband Jimmy, and daughters Abby and Maggie;his daughter Whitney Wagers and husband Mike; and daughters Mya and Georgia; his son Dillon Dossey and wife Jessica, and children Daxton, Colton and Charli; his sisters Sandi Moore, Jill Bell and Jeannie Fasano;and many friends and family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4th, 2019, at 11 am at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
