On August 4, 2020 Vera M. Galavis went to be with our Heavenly Father. Vera was born on April 20, 1950 in Leesville, LA. She worked for many years as a CNA in both Oklahoma and Texas. But for the last four years she has lived in Stillwater. She enjoyed spending time with family and cheering on the LSU Tigers. Vera will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters and their spouses, Phyllis & Eric Hankinson of Elk City and Kristen & Brandon Arreola of Amarillo, TX. Vera "Nanny" has 6 grandchildren that will continue to share her love and memories; Juanita & Johnny Gonzales, Seth Hankinson, Skyler Galavis, Taylor & Michael Micieli, Zachary Hankinson and Ryliegh Galavis. Vera was proud of her great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with or FaceTiming them. Erica, Jayden, Khloe, Brooklyn and has a great grand-baby on the way.
