Vernon Frederich Hizel, a 77 year-old Business Owner, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Vernon was born April 13, 1936, in Ft. Morgan, Colorado, to Carl and Katherine Hizel. He was the youngest of ten children. Vernon and his wife Jane Ann (Schooley) were married January, 3, 1959. He was a resident of Craig County, Oklahoma, outside of Vinita. Vernon is survived by his wife Jane, of the home; one son Steven Hizel and his wife Julie; and two grandchildren Brianna and Jordan Hizel. He was preceded in death by one daughter Catherine Schmaus.
