Walynda K. Harris was born July 21, 1976 in Wichita, Kansas to Wally and Kathy Marshall. She passed away peacefully February 26, 2017 surrounded by her family. While growing up she lived in Montbello Colorado and attended Amesse Elementary, MLK Jr. and Montbello High and Hinckley High. Many years after obtaining her diploma, in 2003 Walynda Graduated from Platte College. Tulsa, Oklahoma with Recognitions of Outstanding Student and Perfect Attendance awards in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy and received college credits throughout the years. Walynda furthered her career in many patient care settings from Hospitals to Assisted Living Facilities and at times was employed by the State of Oklahoma. Walynda saw herself as a leader and enjoyed life at its best; she always listened and gave good sound comforting advice to whoever asks for nothing short of the truth, including her family. She enjoyed marriage to Sidney Ray Harris aka DJ and loved her children, Oshea, Shantell, Demetrus, Keilee and her handsome grandson Dashawn aka Goobie. She loved her parents, her brother Jay, and deceased brother Joseph. She loved all her Aunts, Uncles, relatives and close friends. Most importantly, she believed and loved God and all his blessings throughout her entire life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4th 2017 at Tuskahoma School Gym, Tuskahoma, Oklahoma. Please leave a condolence in the online guestbook below.
