Wendell C. Jones, 67, of Pryor, Oklahoma passed away on July 10, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was born on March 30, 1958 in Richmond, California. He attended school in Fremont, California, after which, he joined the Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1977. He worked for Wesmar Racing Engines for 10 years, then started driving trucks. Cary was a huge Kansas City Chiefs Fan, an avid motorcyclist (Harley Davidson), and a car enthusiast. He loved his family and was a faithful man, who put God first in his life - which is how he got the name Chappy - from a motorcycle club he rode with.

His motto was "I'm just along for the ride."

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerrel Jones, mother, Wilma Jones (Bellamy), his sister, Deanna Lynette Murillo, and one nephew, Michael Murillo.

Wendell is survived by his wife, Trina Jones, 2 sons from his first marriage; Scott Jones and Steven Jones, of Arizona, his brother, Keenan Scott Jones and his wife Melissa, of Fremont, California. Along with 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
