"Tom Mills, 75, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on 2/2/2016. Tom was born 1/17/41 in Hobbs, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Estelle Mills of Tulsa, OK. He is survived by his wife Lisa of 30 years, dog Jessie, daughter Dee LaPierre and husband Rick, daughter Shelley Holmes and husband Skip, daughter Heidi Pryor and husband Mike, son Chris Mills, son Michael Mills, sister Mary Miller and husband Larry, seven grandchildren (Ethan and Mitchell LaPierre; Brittany Riley and Brandi Gideon; Hunter, Grace, and Riley Pryor), and three great-grandchildren. Tom was a professional photographer, avid sailor, and loved to play golf. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and was a natural storyteller. Tom worked for Amoco for 26 years, and loved his Tulsa Golden Hurricane, of which he was an alumnus. He often donated his time and services to local non-profits. He was a fantastic father and grandfather, dedicated husband, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at 5pm, Saturday, February 13th, 2016, at the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges, located at 815 S Utica, Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges.
