William Richard 'Cowboy' Butler born on January 08, 1957 in Stuttgart Germany to William Ray Butler and Dorothy Viola McCray (both proceeded him in death). His brother, Frank Lavelle Urbish, also proceeded him in death. He was a retired Union ironworker for over 30 years. He retired managing property for the past 3 years before becoming ill. He died June 30, 2017. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Husband and Friend. He married the love of his life, Staci Edmondson in 2011. Richard enjoyed riding his Harley and taking long rides site-seeing, he also loved Karaoke and was well known for singing Johnny Cash "Sunday Morning". He especially enjoyed every moment with his grandkids. He is survived by his Wife, Staci Butler of the Home; his Brother, Lloyd Butler of Pasadena Texas; his Sister, Shirley Vanderman of Odessa Texas; sons, Rick Butler, of Cleveland Oklahoma; John Butler, of Pasadena Texas; Jeremy Magness, of Pasadena Texas; Daughter, Melissa Gaffney, of Pasadena Texas and Greta Flynn, of Conroe Texas; Josh Pula, of Broken Arrow OK and Chris Edmondson, of Tulsa OK and 12 beloved grandchildren.
