William Ferris Robertson, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on January 30, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

He was born on March 23, 1947 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Raymond and Florence Robertson.

Bill, 6'8" tall, was a boys basketball coach and teacher for 37 years. He was at Bethany High School, Mayfield Junior High, and the last 27 years at Putnam North High School. Bill is in the Putnam City District Athletic Hall of Fame, the Oklahoma High School Basketball Hall of Fame, and Pasadena College/Point Loma University Hall of Fame. His love for sports was great, but his love for Jesus Christ was foremost in everything he did.

He was married to his wife, Linda, for 53 years. They have two children. Tom and his wife, Tracy, have two girls, Bailey and Paige. His daughter is a Physicians Assistant and all live in Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Florence Robertson; and brother Ray Robertson.

He is survived by his wife Linda Robertson; son Tom Robertson; daughter Michelle Robertson; and two brothers John Robertson and Tom Robertson.
