Zachary was hard on the outside but inside there was the heart of a caring man willing to do whatever it took to bring happiness to others. Zachary was haunted by his bipolar demons and he struggled daily to be happy himself but in spite of that he was willing to help anybody in need and treated friends as family. Zachary would give the coat off his back even if it meant he would be cold.
He always had a hug, smile or kiss for everyone. People described Zachary as a loving teddy bear and very protective. He had a big heart but rough around the edges. He was known for his quirky sayings, his warm goofy smile and his contagious laugh. His son was his pride and joy and he fought to be a good father. He liked barbecues and beer and hanging with his friends and family. His favorite pastime was cruising in his '64 Impala or riding his Harley.
Zachary is survived by his mother Jeta, son Angel, sister Melissa, nephews Xzavier and Skylier, niece Marvella and his love Sylvia.
The pandemic has made it extremely difficult or impossible to plan traditional gatherings but you may join the candlelight/balloon ceremony scheduled for this Saturday or you may honor and remember Zachary in your own way. Pandemic permitting, we hope to have a celebration of Zachary's life on his birthday next year.
I do not understand why you were tragically taken from us but I hope that the lord has a plan to give your soul some kind of peace. I will miss your big hard bear hugs. Love you son
