The legal next-of-kin is required to sign, authorizing the cremation.

 

Note: only the person or persons in each category listed below is required to sign. To determine next-of-kin, the categories below must be followed in descending order. Categories cannot be skipped if there are living members in the category, unless they are incapacitated or their whereabouts are unknown. In either case, documentation will be required attesting to their circumstances. Contact our office for help regarding this situation.

 

The descending order of legal next-of-kin is as follows...

  • Spouse of deceased
  • All children over the age of 18
  • Custodial parent
  • Non-custodial parent

Thank you for placing your trust in us for your cremation services. We understand that making financial decisions after the loss of a loved one can be difficult. We encourage you to ask questions and have an open discussion with your cremation director regarding payment options so that you can make the best decision for your family.

 

For your peace of mind, until a method of payment has been secured and/or an insurance policy assignment been confirmed, we will not proceed with scheduling the cremation, or identifications and viewings services or running a public obituary notice. Once payment and/or insurance confirmation has been secured, we will proceed with all of your arrangements as described in this plan.

Local Pick Up & Transportation

Local Pick Up and transportation of the body is a 30 mile radius from our central crematory operations. All transportation mileage beyond the standard 30 miles will incur additional mileage fees:

Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home (30 mile radius) $845

  • Removal of the decedent to the funeral home from a local residence, hospice, or care facility within 30 miles.
  • Additional Transportation Fees:
    • 31 - 50 miles +$75
    • 51-100 miles +$95
    • 101+ miles +$195
  • All miles are quoted within the State of Oklahoma. For mileage fees outside Oklahoma will be quoted
