Savings Thousands of dollars can be saved and used as a more meaningful gift through bequests to children or grandchildren, or perhaps left as memorials to a favorite charity or institution as a continuing effort to build a better tomorrow. Environmental Concerns We know that concerned citizens are looking toward the future and the eventual scarcity of land for cemeteries. Visitation We know many hospice patients have suffered weight loss and do not always want family and friends seeing them. The cremation society supports this decision. This is one of the reasons we promote closure and saying goodbye at the bedside. Merchandise (Funeral Home Products) A bona-fide cremation society does not have a product orientation. Unlike our corporate competitors, we do not engage in the practice of up-selling families caskets or burial vaults. The society does offer urns. If a family wants a "viewing" with a body present we require a casket. |
