She was an expert at sewing, quilting, knitting, needlepoint and any other craft she put her mind to. She was always willing to help and teach others and often did, as well as encouraging all she came in contact with. She loved cooking for all, especially for Bruce and Rick. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Brecksville, Ohio; long time Mother Advisor in Rainbow for Girls in Brecksville, Ohio.
She moved to Tulsa in 2005 from Brecksville Ohio to be closer to her daughter & family. She first lived at Town Village and later moved to University Village for the last 3 years. She was involved in the knitting group that made hats and small knitted coverlets for preemies for local hospitals, crocheted lap robes for people in wheelchairs, and hats for older children for the winter. She cared about many people, those that she knew and many she did not.
